Time with Nan and PK

Toronto Zoo

While we were away in the County, My Mom, Dad, Chery, the kids, and cousin Megan and her kids all went to the zoo. My Dad, who is awaiting a hip replacement, didn't think he'd be able to walk the whole thing so he rented a scooter, which got as much attention as the animals!

Prince Edward County

Chris and I got away for 3 days with my brother and Alli to a wonderful area called Prince Edward County. Thanks so much to my Mom for taking the kids so we could do this, as it was a highlight of our trip. It was so nice to spend uninterupted time with Adam and Alli. We got a tonne of biking in through the country roads (40 kms one day, 71 kms the next and 20 the 3rd day), had amazing food, stayed in a lovely bed and brekafast and sampled local wines. It was a fabulous trip!

Canada's Wonderland

We spent a long, fun day at Canada's Wonderland, but didn't get a lot of photos. We have learned that Aja is our thrill seeker and will go on some pretty crazy rides, but Sedona doesn't like anything too crazy. They also had some amazing waterslides which we all enjoyed!

Cousin Marly and the Girls

We didn't see Marly a lot, but the girls sure adored her when they did!

Collingwood Scenic Caves

My Mom took us to these scenic caves one day where we got to explore caves, go mini-golfing, and my Mom and Sedona ziplined!!! You had to be 10 so Aja and James didn't get to go. I could not believe my mom, at 69 years old, did this!! Sedona had gone ziplining on a kids' course in Mexico, but this was the real thing! It was long, high and fast!!

When we went to Toronto, Aja and her cousin James, were inseperable. They have only met about 4 times, but every time they are together, they have a blast!

Canada Day Parade

This year Sedona went in the parade with the soccer association. Aja always likes to watch it!
