Sedona has officially become Daddy's Little Girl. Now that I am occupied with nursing and taking care of Aja, she has definitely learned to rely on Chris more. It's been great watching their relationship take on a new dimension.

Hello World!

Aja is becoming more and more alert every day. It took her a few days to really wake up, and although she is still sleeping a tonne, the times that she is awake, she is more attuned to what's going on. So far, she has been a pretty mellow baby and she has made our family complete. Our weekend consisted of family time: going to the Farmer's Market, walks, trips to the park and just getting used to all of our new roles. Sedona loves being a big sister and has been fantastic with Aja thus far. She is a big helper and loves tickling her toes and giving her kisses. When Aja is sleeping, she always asks "where's baby sister?" and likes to check in on her. Today was Chris' first day back with his class and we miss him already. It was so nice to have him home to play with us! Poor guy- now he has three ladies with whom to contend!

Our latest addition

On Friday night at 5:06 pm, our latest miracle of life arrived. Aja(pronounced asia) McKenna Allen arrived with great fanfare after a rock solid delivery by mom. Lisa was guided in her delivery by our two midwives. As we decided to have Aja at home, not two hours later we ate a celebratory dinner at our dinner table. What an amazing feeling. Big sister Sedona will have her first introductions this morning as she has been at Nanna's house eagerly awaiting the arrival of her little sister.

and was 20.5 inches long

9 Months Pregnant

After music on Wednesdays, we always go to the park with some other kids from our class and their mom's. My one friend insisted on taking a picture of me because she really felt that I'm going to deliver anytime now, so this could be the last belly shot- just a few days away until my due date! We're all very excited!
