We went to show Grandma Lou the salmon spawning today, and good news.... there are more this year than we've seen at this particular creek.

Soccer
Sedona started soccer this year and loves it!!! I think she has taken to this more than anything else she has ever done, in terms of being keen to learn an

Passionflower
Isn't this flower incredible?? Our neighbours grow these and gave the girls one each the other day. It's so perfect!
Ghoster Coaster
I just got this picture from my Mom. It's of when we went to Canada's Wonderland in the summer. Our faces say it all, and this is just the kids' roller coaster!

Crazy Ride
Yesterday Chris and I went on the annual "Brat Ride." It's a ride to raise money for our local Search and Rescue group, which Robert is a part of. Well, let me tell you, it was anything, but ideal riding conditions. There were very high winds and the rain was coming down sideways. Chris' Dad was on the race course volunteering, so snapped this shot. We are glistening from being so wet!

Violin
Sedona has a friend who plays the violin and she has had a chance to try it a few times, so declared that she would like to take lessons. I was excited about this, because Chris and I both embrace our sporty sides, and tend to foreget about the other artistic/musical side, so I thought that was good. I never enjoyed piano lessons as a kid. For the time being, we are renting a violin and trying out lessons. She had her first lesson on Tuesday, and really enjoyed it. She can pick it up and actually sounds like she knows what she is doing, whereas when I tried, it's "SQUEAK!" She has been keen to practice every day to, so we'll see where it goes.

Aja's New Bike
Aja has joined our school mountain bike club. She was soooo excited to start. Last Tuesday was our first ride of the school year, and she joined 28 other kids on the ride! Her bike was too small and I was thinking that we'd wait until Christmas, but now with her doing mountain bike club, she really was ready for gears. She loves it! She had a great ride last night, and kept saying "This is Awesome!!!!" It's 7:30 in the morning, and what does she want to do? Go for a shred!
