We went over to Victoria for a few days to cisit old friends and family. I have been back quite a few times since graduating from univeristy, but for some reason, I was more nostalgic this time than ever. It's such a great city, and both Chris and I have many wonderful memories from living there (without knowing each other though). One afternoon, after seeing "Cinderella," while Chris was out with a buddy, I took the girls to some of my old stomping grounds, Mount Dog, being one of them. We had such a great trip, and it was fun to catch up with friends and family. Thanks everyone!

Relatives
Here are some of the rellies from Victoria- we had a great visit with everyone! Thanks to Irene, in particular, for your great hospitality!! The girls love their new tye-dye shirts Uncle Paul!
Thetis Lake
I was lucky enough to get out for a run around Thetis Lake with my owl running partner, Maude! Then the next day, I took Sedona for a loop around the lake. She can keep up to me and has great endurance for her age.... I could see her being a runner. What a treat to run with her!
My Funny Family!
Zoe and Theo introduced a game to the girls called "Fibber." They had so much fun playing it at their house, that we went out and bought it. The girls had fun teaching Chris how to play.

Canucks Game
Chris and Sedona went to a Canucks game with a colleague and his daughter. Sedona loved it and wants to start watching some games with Chris now! They picked a good game to go to as the canucks beat the Leafs 4-1!
Playdome
While Chris and Sedona went to the Canucks game, Aja and I went to Playdome, an indoor carnival with lots of rides. Aja was very brave and went on about 4 rides she was too scared to try in the summer. I had a lot of fun with her too.... until we went on the "Orbiter" which was very spinny. Even Aja started to feel sick on it.
Cousin Ian Visits!
What a good sport Ian is- he let the girls dress him up in lipstick, headband, a dress and heels. Anything goes with him!

Sunday Morning Hike
We went for a lovely Sunday morning hike. Usually we have soccer on Saturdays, which is now over, and I run with some friends on Sunday mornings, but neither happened this weekend, so it was so nice to get out for a morning hike on such a BEAUTIFUL day!! The girls were checking out some crazy bike stunts too.

A Night in the City
Chris and I were lucky enough to get a night in Vancouver alone. The girls stayed with "Nana," and we went in after work, went out for dinner, saw an amazing concert ("Caribou"), danced up a storm and went for a great run along the seawall the next morning before coming home. What a treat!
Sedona's Soccer Tournament
Last weekend was Sedona's year end soccer tournament. It was such a beautiful weekend, and Aja was with a friend all day, so Chris and I got to really sit down and enjoy the games. I have to say, I love being a soccer Mom, and I know Chris loved the day as well. Because I always played sports and see such value in them, I love being on the sidelines watching them! Sedona's on the basketball team that I'm coaching right now too, and she LOVES it! I can see that playing soccer has actually really helped her on the basketball court.
