First Day of School

Another school year started today.... finally after being off for 3 months! The girls were sooooo excited for their first day of school. Aja starts grade 2 and Sedona is in grade 4.

Cops for Cancer

Last week I went to a great fundraising event called "Cops for Cancer." a bunch of police officers ride 100 kms for 10 days to raise money for pediatric cancer. It was a very inspirational evening. Today was the second day of their ride, and we went to cheer them on as our friend is one one of the riders. I always feel so sappy at those events!

Last Hurrah of Summer!

Well, it looks like school will likely be back on next week after being on strike since mid June! We went for our last "hurrah" camping trip with a bunch of other families on the weekend. It was the perfect way to end the "endless" summer!

Mountain Bike Park

Sedona went with her friend Gracey and Chris to Sechelt's new downhill Mountain Bike Park, called Coast Gravity, and she LOVED it!!!!!! Chris said it was a bit scary watching her going so fast and being so comfortable!
